Round to slit bundles are
configured with a linear fiber pattern at one end, and circular
pattern at the other end. They are typically used to remotely
transfer UV-Vis (180nm-1150nm) or Vis-NIR (340nm-2500nm) light
between spectrometers, monochromators, light sources, and
samples. The line end may be positioned over the instrument’s
input or output slit, to maximize efficiency. These bundles can
also be used in a variety of applications where it is necessary
to convert a round beam to a line pattern. |
